about

A spherical room, comfortable seats, a good sound system and space visuals created in real time. On June 23, 2023, in cooperation with the Copernicus Science Center, Ignu gave a concert at the Planetarium. This evening became a lasting memory thanks to the amazing atmosphere created by the music, the audience and the place itself.
'We wanted a venue that would fit the theme of our latest album ‘Unity III’ perfectly. It is, after all, a space concept album. We couldn't have found a better place,' emphasize the musicians for whom this was also the first ever sold-out gig.

The Copernicus Science Center's team of specialists allowed the performance to rise to a higher level. ‘We were asked to provide a setlist many weeks before the concert’. ‘The idea was for the Science Center to get acquainted with the material and prepare visuals that would match what was happening on the stage musically. A lot of people were involved in this project and we are extremely grateful for that, the end result was incredible'.

A short excerpt from that concert is now available online. It's two of Ignu's mellower songs that will lift you up into the night sky and allow you to relive that evening once again - ‘Lunar Acquaintance’ and ‘Night of Summer Stars’. In addition to the audio recordings there is also a 17-minute video, attempting to capture the uniqueness of that performance.
